About Dr. Nikki Walden M.D.

Dr. Walden specializes in Integrative, Functional & Regenerative Medicine and is a Board Certified Gynecologist.

For Dr. Nikki, medical practice means caring not just for ailments but improving overall health through a mix of therapies.  Her focus is helping both men & women overcome health challenges they face through customizing specifically designed solutions that align with an individual’s specific need.

Typically, this involves Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), customized nutrition, stress reduction techniques and fitness regimens .  While utilizing a personalized wellness approach, Dr. Walden targets and identifies the right treatment rather than simply offering general solutions.

As a leader for over twenty years in North Dallas OB/GYN doctor circles, Dr. Walden served as Vice Chair of the Ob/Gyn Department at Baylor Medical Center at Carrollton and also played an active role in committees such as Ethics, Credentials, Best Care, and the Quality Performance Improvement Board to name a few.  However, operating under the traditional medicine model proved limiting thus leading Dr. Walden into seeking complementary approaches that would lead to actual recovery and healing rather than reliance on medication alone.

In 2008, Dr. Walden embarked on the path of Integrative & Functional Medicine, which included Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) training.  Despite transitioning from her Obstetrics practice, Dr. Walden remains fiercely committed to optimizing wellness through providing guidance to patients on the root cause of illnesses, how to focus on regaining youthful energy, how to live a balanced life, and how to implement genuine disease prevention strategies through addressing lifestyle choices.

After experiencing physical manifestations caused by aging and stress in her own life, Dr. Walden made changes which allowed her to transition toward an advanced practice where she encourages her patients to also implement similar lifestyle adjustments.  Dr. Walden adheres to a high standard herself of “Physician, heal thyself” and “I never ask my patients to do anything I haven’t done myself.”  As such, Dr. Walden regularly monitors her dietary habits, engages openly with physical activity regimens whilst employing regular stress reduction strategies like Vibroacoustic Therapy and Prayer sessions.  This has resulted in positively enhancing her quality-of-life not only for herself, but also toward various family members who have benefited from similar corrective measures.  Nutritional supplementation has played a major part of the change for herself and those patients seeking improved outcomes while on the path of achieving long-term wellness goals.

Respectively, in 1994 and 1996, Dr. Walden completed her undergraduate degrees at the University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University.  She later received a Medical Degree from the Medical College of Virginia, completing both her Internship in 2001 and Obstetrics/Gynecology Residency in 2004.  Dr. Walden is a part of a national network which aligns with highly trained physicians catering specifically towards natural Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) and a Member holding affiliation with the American Academy for Anti-Aging Medicine having taken advantage of training and fellowships being granted in both Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine which includes officially recognized Board Certification.  Dr. Walden is also a respected Fellow among her peers within the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology founded on a reputable level benchmark representing excellence striving toward the highest standards today upheld when it comes to such institutions promoting modern-day advancements towards health and well-being.
